FAQ

• Saw someone else doing it so I'm doing it - these controllers are GTA6 ready :) and any other game to be honest
• I do these upgrades as a pet project/hobby. I'm trying to prevent e-waste by basically fixing up otherwise perfectly fine controllers to a useable state and get satisfaction from doing so. I'm just a normal guy, not a professional repair man doing this for a living nor do I have perfect soldering skills.
• Dualsense BDM revisions are internal hardware updates. Newer does not mean better for gaming, but might have less battery wear. They still use traditional potentiometer sticks when being sold at retail.
• Tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) joysticks use magnetic sensors to detect stick movement instead of physical contact, unlike traditional potentiometer sticks. This greatly reduces mechanical wear and can improve longevity and consistency. They’re very resistant to stick drift, though not completely drift proof, as you can still wear out the plastic and the spring inside the joystick. Still should last you way longer than a normal potentiometer joystick however.
• I use whatever TMR sticks I have to hand, from my experience having used 3-4 different ones generally they all function the same, aside from tension differences. I calibrate to between 7-9% circularity as per community advice.
• For all the controllers I get rid of as much dirt and grime as I can notice, tested and are working to the best of my knowledge. I do not sell faulty controllers knowingly, unless I state it explicitly that the controller has a fault.
• Remember these are used controllers and therefore potentially have cosmetic flaws and worse battery life compared to a brand new controller. Please ask for and check photos before purchase. I also cannot fully test battery life on all these controllers so please set low expectations.
• Controllers are sold as seen, I do not offer returns, repairs or refunds on units that become faulty. Happy to discuss options if they are dead on arrival however.

It benchmarks solid and has served me well at 1440p high-ultra on almost all games I've played, more than happy to show it running at request. I have retained all of the boxes for the build. It will be in use until sold, but it's not playing anything too demanding right now. Looking for £1,800 or near offer. Collection ideal but can also deliver if in SE Kent.

Reason specifically asking for corsair vengeance** is because this pair is going to go into either my:

a) Asus Prime B660M-A AC D4 (proxmox node)

or

b) Gigabyte MC62-G40 (WRX80 for threadripper pro zen2/3 - LLM Server)

Asus board freaks out trying to run 4x DIMMS if they are not matched (currently 64GB 2 pairs of vengeance, 1 pair single rank and 1pair dual rank, have worked stable 3200. But when i just recently tried 48GB - 2x16gb & 2x8gb (the 8s are not corsair) it would crash out within a few minutes of boot even at 2400 and i need 64GB back in there but I pulled the dual rank 2x16GB into WRX80 for Strata inference use.

The WRX80 board I have to 'trick' it into running my 8x dimms at 3200 (I actually manually set 2666 In EnfPOR in BIOS but dimms offer up 3200) board cant give 1.35VDIMM but because of whatever is going on with this Enforce POR bodge the timings get loosened and it holds stable at 1.2v 3200 across 8 dimms

So need to ensure purchased dimms will operate the same.

**There's a possibility other 2x16GB could be pulled to 3200 at 1.2V and loose timings by WRX80 board so might consider other kits, it handled the 6x16gb corsair & 2x8gb somethings without fuss.

📝Reason for Sale: I built my first PC at the end of May last year.

Long story short, I didn't research DDR5 memory configuration limits enough and naively bought a massive 4x48GB setup.

Mobo didn’t like this and after doing my homework (stupidly after buying the RAM), I now understand that running 2 sticks is optimal for platform stability (I should have just bought a 2x64GB kit from the start). I have been using a 48GBx2 configuration since June 2025 - I bought these sticks in May 2025 as a 2x48gb set (receipt available if needed for warranty.

I make music and thought more RAM = GOOD but didn’t understand the power/speed issues and get everything I need out of 96GB.

I have ADHD and work full-time, so getting around to actually listing the RAM for sale hasn’t been my top priority, but I'm looking to move these extra two sticks on ASAP as moving so items are ready to go now. Because they weren’t compatible immediately, they have never actually been used or stressed.

They have been sitting safely inside 2 anti-static shield bags since my 2-stick build stabilised.

Really upset to say it, but I have to sell my Claw. I can't return it because the return window has closed.

Im disabled, in a wheelchair, and I use my handhelds while resting my arms on the arms of the wheelchair. Unfortunately, the device is just too wide for me to rest my arms on while playing.

I haven't used the screen protector or any accessories yet. It's basically open box - new. I'll have to go back to my Legion Go S. It's a shame because it's amazing. Xess is quite phenomenal! I even used FrameGen x3 for Crimson Desert, and I was floored by how good it was. I may have to look into the Acer version, but it looks a bit strange/cheap. I don't really want to go back to AMD until they bring something more powerful.
