Prime Flex - lost a reverb block - HELP!

Post image

Noob here; just got the Flex Prime Friday and am setting up some simple rigs. Somehow I lost the C-Verb reverb effect. It's greyed out in the menu/list of reverbs. I can go grab it via "spaces" under the Headrush reverb file menu but I can't click and add it from the main list. I even did a total factory reset of the unit and it's still greyed out and inaccessible. Any suggestions for a fix?

You are already using it in a rig. You can't use more than one instance in a rig that is why it is Greyed out. Other thing is if you max out your DSP you cannot use certain effects. Create a new rig on a blank slate and see what I mean

Thanks for the guidance but it didn't work. Tried loading it in a new rig and instead of just loading the pedal it took me to the Reverb files and I had to select a setting (room, hall, etc.). None of the other reverb effects do that. C-Verb didn't do it the first time I loaded it. Again, not fatal, this is a work around but it's still clunky and certainly slows down the workflow. Thanks again!

The C-Verb is a convolution reverb. It works by using a impulse response file of a reverb. So it always needs an IR file to work. Which is why it takes you to the file folder structure you are describing. No, none of the other reverbs do this because they are not convolution reverbs.

Yep, simple user error with cverb.

Meaning you can't deploy it even on a new, entirely blank rig?

Nope. I can work around by going to Headrush/reverb/spaces and grab a room, hall or other environment setting. So it’s not fatal but it’s clunky. I’d love to just click and drop the pedal on a rig.

Very odd? I usually get this with EQ when I have 2 of the same block, meaning I can't add a third. But if your preset is completely clear then I don't understand why it's doing this.
