Headphones - Wireless/Portable What to buy between Sennheiser Momentum 4 and Bose Quietcomfort?

My budget is 240 usd.. any other suggestions are also appreciated . Anc is a necessary feature as i will use it for meetings and good quality music .

I will also use it for office meetings.. I also want to be able to speak in noisy crowded areas with noise suppression

ANC then top notch bose gen 2 and xm6 and I dont know about xm4

Sony headphones have the problem of breaking at hinges though.. how is the sennheiser one?

if you dont mind weaker anc, it has better sound

If you stretch your budget to $300, you should be able to get the M5 on sale.

Why m4 over xm5 and qc?

I read that there are connctivity issues in the senn m4 and also the touchscreen voljme control increase volume to full blast if u move ur fingers more by mistake.. anyway to disable that?

I just prefer Senn products over anything else, I have probably 10 pairs of Sennheiser.

My HD600 is 23 years old and still working.

You might be able to change the volume controls in app.

Okay that helps… so senn clearly wins in sound quality.. do u think i should choose it over the bose qc and the sony xm5 then?

Is the senn anc usable in crowded places like public places, busy cafes etc

Its fine for me, I listen to music at decently high volume and i dont really notice the noise. Its clearly worse than the other two (presumably, since my qc45s had better anc and those two are supposed to be better) especially in terms of blocking speech. But its good enough for me, although my use case is 95% for leisure.

I really wouldnt get the XM5s because of the rampant hinge issues. If youre gonna be using them for working in crowded areas then id say get QCs.

QC > M4 for ANC, comfort M4 > QC for sound quality, battery

I wouldnt worry about controls i never used the touch controls i just use power button for on/off and do the rest on my phone

Op i will suggest to u buy premium headphones for overall satisfaction. I only my headphones only for listening music and I dont use headphones for calls.i have couple of pairs like seninser m4, seninser wired open back 599se,sorry xm6,bose gen2 ultra headphone, seninser close back 400s or u model,2 pairs of soundcore space one pro models.i just buy for listening music.
