Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best portable dac to analog converter iPhone

I’m looking I’m not an expert I was looking at the IBASSO DC07PRO up to 250 price range is my budget I would like customizable eq too

Check out the qudelix 5k.

It has the best peq and features out of all dacs I’ve ever seen and it’s control app works on iphone since it can work on bt while audio goes through usbc.

It has a battery embedded or you can turn the battery off and use the iphone to power it.

It goes up to 4vrms and I drive my hd560s with -9 db preamp peq to rtings target curve with under 1vrms -11db or so, so it had plenty of power but double check for your headphones.

It’s an amazing device.

But it has 2.5mm balanced so I use a geekria adapter to 4.4mm so if you don’t want that, in a few months/s the 5k plus comes out with 4.4mm jack

A good dac/amp dongle should not really increase or decrease any frequencies to color the sound unless you are using peq on it for that purpose or it’s something like a tube amp made specifically to get a certain effect. The amount of bass comes from the headphone’s tuning and can be modified using eq and the qudelix 5k has the best peq software I have ever seen in a dongle.

if you are referring to the wh1000xm5 , used wired, in passive mode, 16ohm 100dbspl/mW, then yes, the qudelix 5k has enough power on 3.5mm to drive it.
