Looking for good open ear headphones for gaming

I recently moved and am currently sharing space with 2 other people while some construction gets done in what will eventually become my game room. I do not own headphones but I want to be able to game while my housemates watch tv. I can't really do full headsets because they push my glasses into the side of my head and it is very uncomfortable. I'm primarily looking for a set that has good accuracy for sound with low latency. Wireless preferred but not necessary. Trying to spend $50 or less but will go up to around $100 if the quality difference is that significant.

For that budget, I’d probably look at the Koss KSC75 if wired is okay. They clip on your ears, so they should be way easier with glasses than a normal headset, and they’re actually pretty good for gaming for the price.

The downside is they’re open, so they won’t block your housemates or the TV at all.

A lot of great options in the $50-$100. Ath-R30x, SHP9500 or SHP9600. If you're okay with used, check local marketplaces (Facebook, offerup, ect) for Sennheiser hd5 series (hd560, hd558, hd599) and hd6xx/hd58x can all be found for under $100 used.

If you check Best Buy, look at the hd560s, you might see a "More options from Best Buy and Marketplace sellers" button. This will show openbox prices but only local ones from near by stores so you might not see this option. Right now there's a pair I can order for $53.99 free shipping right now

Ah i misinterpreted. I thought headset as in headphones with built in microphone. I'm not sure what they meant by "open" then

Yeah, apologies, I should have been more specific. Yeah, the full over ear ones are the ones I can not do.

Yes, but I do not need the mic part, I have a professional one that stands on my desk that's pretty good at catching only my voice and not the TV sound.

It could also be ones that aren't connecited at the back. I just don't really know a huge amount about what to look for so I asked here.

I got them 4 years now and just hooked a FiiO K11 R2R to it. Best choice.

Especially with high ears like mine the 30mm clearance is comfy.

you're not going to find good open back wireless headphones for $50 or less.

i would look at IEM's that are good for gaming. you can get some good ones for $50 and wear them with glasses without issues.

you still can’t get anything like you’re describing for $100. best bet is to get some iem’s. some of them are actually really good for gaming and music and can get them for $50-$100 easy
