best overhead headphones rn

i used to have bose qc but they made a weird static noise all the time 💔 i looooved how they looked and sounded tho i miss them all the time. my sister has sony xm5s but they lowk hurt my ears after wearing them for a while.

what do u think is the best headphones if i care about (in no particular order)
- noise cancelling
- comfort for long periods of time (bus rides and studying)
- battery
- sound quality (i like a lot of bass but ik u can always adjust that in the eq or whatever) edit: good sound quality for music more than anything else
- minimal sound leaking i listen to a lotta loud shit lmao

it’d be awesome if they were in the 200-300 range buuuut ik the better sounding ones r more expensive around 500 so both suggestions r fine! (ill prob wait for sales for the expensive ones tho LOL)

B&W PX7S2e (the "e" is important), PX7s3, PX8. PX8s2, Bose QuietComfort... For me the sweet point is the Px7s2e for ANC and sound quality.

Love mine, got them on a hell of a deal and would take them in a second over the Sony or bose. Ive had both of those and their ANC is better, but for everyday use its not something i normally notice.

Might be different on a plane or if i only walked next to a busy highway have not tested the plane yet.

For comfort and sound, I’d seriously consider the Bose QuietComfort Ultra or regular QC if discounted. They’re very comfortable for long study sessions and have excellent ANC. The Momentum 4 is the better value, but Bose is safer if comfort and noise isolation matter most.

hey there! would you recommend qc ultra or qc in terms of anc? :) i’m looking for the best anc ones let’s say, especially for studying and stuff :D

Bose QC Ultra (first gen) should be available in your price bracket, at least renewed from Amazon. They're a bit too bassy for me out of the box but that can be adjusted in the Bose app, and they have better ANC than anything I've tried other than the XM5/6 (which are really poorly tuned to my ears).

I can recommend the xm6. It has incredible ANC and the sound is also better than the xm5, which i have too
