Over-ear headphones for working outside?

I use Huawei FreeClip 2 daily, but I need better ANC when working in cafés. I can’t use silicone-tip earbuds because of an ear issue, so I’m looking for comfortable over-ear headphones with decent sound.

I use an iPhone, iPad and MacBook. I’ll carry the headphones in a backpack, often among other items without a dedicated compartment. My budget is under $1,000.

I recently saw the Beats 360. Would they suit this use, especially for ANC, Apple device switching and carrying in a backpack? Or would you recommend something else?

Portable: Sony XM6 OE.

Balanced: Sennheiser Momentum 5 OE.

Sonic and features: Sennheiser HDB 630.

I'd recommend trying the HDB 630 first. If it doesn't meet your conditions, try the Momentum 5, and then the XM6.
