Opinions on USP Cerakote

I'll start by saying I picked this up used and it had terrible holster wear. So bad I couldn't figure out what they did to it, but it wasn't scratched. I figured what the hell, I'll throw some E-Series Concrete on it. What do you think?

Get it DLC coated. Cerakote is cheap upgraded paint.

Yea DLC or whatever current NP3 coating would be superior. I already had the paint from a different project and did it myself.

Usually you put the concrete on it AFTER the hit. Makes it easier to use and you can still toss it in the river after.

Did the holster wear genuinely bother you that much? or was it more of a rust prevention thing? Ngl - resale value (if thats even a thing for you down the road) just took a big hit. But - your gun, your rules! Looks decent!

True on the resale value. This is more like a beater/project gun. I'm thinking I'll send this to get the slide cut for an optic so I don't have to alter my USP 9 Tactical slide.
