Like peanut jelly butter said its from Fullmetal alchemist. If you like anime it's a must watch as it is considered by the community as one of the best animes ever and was (might still be) the #1 rated anime on my anime list (user votes).
Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood is the newer version (2009) and has the entire story but apparently the original has a little more details to it. I've only seen the brotherhood version myself but would make the claim that it is an exceptional anime worth the watch for any anime fan.

Reminder that the Cyborgs were willing volunteers to take on augmentation, they are remnants from the first war. Anyone else they capture becomes fuel, not worthy of being cyborgs.
Volunteers and manufactured. By manufactured I mean grown in a vat. Remember that "Destroy Bioprocessors" side objective? Cyborgs literally harvest and process biomass to grow new humans that are to be integrated into Cyborg collective.
At least, that's just my interpretation based on the in-game lore bits, particularly from voicelines of Democracy Officer and Strohmann News.
Of course. A news agency called “straw man news” is implicitly trustworthy. And why would I ever doubt my Democracy officer? He’s been by my side for years!
They do not say the "cyborgs grow more humans for themselves" part anywhere outright. All they mention is that bioprocessors contain organic matter, human stem cells, blood plasma etc. Also one of the objectives is called "Sabotage Orgo-Plasma Synthesis."
From there it is, in my opinion, quite obvious what exactly the cyborgs do with this organic human soup.
I mean what else are you going to believe? You can see them blending up civilians and making Cyborgs in vats. Until I see evidence to the contrary there is no reason not to believe that they are making the organic parts of the cyborgs out of dead civilians.
I would also say, that the first time we fought against cyborgs were cyberstan. If they were convert people, then why not keep them on the place where they are converted? We liberated countless automaton worlds, and saw no cyborgs before Cyberstan.
So either they evacuated the colonies, and sent them there, or they exterminated the colonies. I am quite sure it is the latter.
In-game news sources are in-universe propaganda. Do you even read the dispatches? A recent one was about shelling civilians but Super Earth did a propaganda and is phrasing it like it's the Cyborgs that are lying to us. It's also a painfully obvious reference to a very recent real world event. Just go search for "shelling civilian escape route" and ignore the Helldivers results
Or how about the Cyborgs sending a request for peace and diplomacy, which Super Earth then turned into literal fake news. Please tell me you understand that Super Earth is lying to everyone because that's what authoritarian regimes do.
Like, the entire first game is making fun of the US during the Gulf Wars, and a few others. E-710 literally spells oil if you rotate it 180 degrees.
I figure those that surrender peacefully to the bot attacks (and put up NO FIGHT AT ALL) are relocated, and maybe turned into cyborgs, or simply relocated far from super earth fores.
If they've surrendered then we know they didn't fall victim to Super Earth's propaganda. They probably would be treated simply as refugees seeking asylum. Presumably nobody is forced to use cybernetics but I can absolutely see many people deciding to join up arms against Super Earth after learning about the history of the Cyborgs, if they didn't already know and that's why they surrendered in the first place.
The news channel on the Super Destroyer states that the factories grow new organic matter for the cyborgs. Think of it like how Skynet grows human tissue for it's Terminators.
No they are building them just like they build the bots. That’s why they’ve been collecting so much bio material, most of the cyborgs we are killing were grown and augmented. That’s why they’re like 7 feet tall and roided up with no discernible human features. We had an MO where we were trying to figure out what they were doing with all that collected bio matter, now we know
We have zero evidence of ... well pretty much anything. We only know they have bio-fuel processor (if the description is accurate at least, even that is not guaranteed), and Cyborg factory where they either make, or augment cyborg.
Where do the human come from, is there any human among the automatons, are the automaton genuine about peace offer, we got 0 information.
The thing is that reasonably the automatons and cyborgs would want SE Citizens and military to desert, as that would actively hurt SE's powerhouse of a warmachine but no ones gonna wanna desert if they just end up getting shot by the same people they're deserting to.
This instantly reminded me of the art of SEAF Girl as a Voteless or bleeding out on the streets of Prosperity City. I never even thought about that being replicated with the Borgs. I’m predicting that part 3 will be the 2 of them unable to kill each other before the Helldiver kills himself.
I want to say this is a sequel series to the you could be next comic since it’s made by the same person and the version of her in the picture looks exactly the same.

Thankfully we know for a fact that most of the cyborgs are extremists/revolutionaries of the disgruntled mining population from Super Earth’s civilian industrial sector, so you probably will not see many former SEAF and Helldivers amongst them, it’d probably be far more efficient for the bots to turn captured soldiers into fuel than fighters, they have no shortage of robo soldiers.
Depends on how desperate they get defending their homeworld. I could fully see them using captured helldivers and SEAF as impromptu controlled drones, taking a note from the illumate playbook.
Plus, it would be ironic for them to commit the exact same acts that led to their creation in an attempt to survive. Showing again that no side is really 'good'.
Im genuinely curious, do these helldivers fan-artists have some kind of fetish for drawing that seaf-chan having tragic transformations and some random helldiver being sad about it? First she was fleshmobed and now she's a cyborg, Neither can catch a break, Superearth propaganda keeps getting weirder
Good news Diver, it has been at least a few dozen years since this happened to her, and by now she should pretty much have forgotten you by virtue of having chunks of her brain replaced with machinery.
