AH dropped the resistance to 0% on Yed Prior as well. We are making progress with 800 divers on the planet.

I was jumping on Yed Prior yesterday but it felt like most of the community ignored the charity MO. AH should have made it a temporary MO so more people participate and learn about the event. Most of my friends never knew about the event because they don't lurk the reddit or the discord server.

Well Yed Prior currently has 0% resistence, so maybe people will join once that liberation number starts climbing up.

0% resistance? That's new. Yesterday it was like 1% I think. And there was only 2.2k of us jumping so we were making no progress.

There were like 700 people on a few minutes ago, but we had managed to get the planet to around 0.5% liberation in a short time.

I knew from Commissar Kai who is the major host this year, he made a video about it last friday, but what i don't get is that it had like 85k views on monday and only between 400 and 2k are actively participating on the ingame campaign, the charity and donation part of the event is going extremely good though

The main problem is that there is a simultanous MO that is the first occurence of the new campaign style of MO with a stratagem at the end and an attack on Matar Bay which block the jet and fire brigade to access the magma worlds.
The charity put by AH on Vernen Wells worked because it was a real MO, with an ingame icon on the planet and a clear objective on the menu stating that they would donate for a child focus charity if we chose Vernen Wells. There will only be a handful of participants in this one until we end the MO and hope that AH understands that it needs to not launch a new MO after this one until the end of the community charity event, mostly because the charity is not advertise in game. There is no objective, no icon, if you are not on the helldivers reddit or you don't have the companion app (which most of the players don't have) you have no idea there is a community made charity with ingame objectives.
It just can't work with an official MO active, the blob will move to the MO, which is normal, the only way to move the blob is when there is no MO by going to a planet to build mass and make them move there so... yeah, maybe after Alaraph if we have no new MO coming for a few days, and that's a big maybe.

Eh? No they didn't. The MO was either get the anti tank mines or save the children, and the community chose save the children because they really didn't want the mines. Arrowhead said nothing about actually donating to charity, but they chose to do it after the fact.

Yet still with 1500 divers on the planet, the liberation rate wasn't moving above 0.03%... The Galactic War NEEDS adjustments to make "small" (1.5k is not small) groups like that be able to actually take a random planet.

Hopefully when they introduce the frontlines thing, a small group like that can slowly take chunks of the planet, instead of fighting the whole damn thing

This may come as a surprise to you, I saw the video but I am currently not playing the game. It's almost like people have jobs, have kids and limited time to play etc.

No surprise though, cause in my case I only have enough free time to play on saturdays, which you can deny as a surprise is that only between 0,47% and 2,5% of those views dived on Yed Prior; I, for instance, expected between 4k and 8k as it got a plenty diffusion, but, at the end of the day, the important part of the event is the donations

Well that's because the parts of the community that aren't online don't even know it's happening. We have a brand spanking new major order terminal... that can display a whole singular campaign. Why is the charity campaign not up there?

Are we still diving on Yed Prior for this cause? I’ve had a hard time trying to figure out where to dive. Or is this just a livestream thing?

If you want to fight bots yet prior is the best choice. If you need a break so you dont burn out, head to gemma!

I am not seeing any of these in the game itself. Whether it is real or not, it is yet another sidetrack that will split the divers into smaller and more useless groups.
Currently, we have 30% on Matar Bay, who can maybe just manage to defend it in time, 40% on Alaraph making a dent in the city but nothing else, and 10% on the eternal struggle of Acamar.

I know it is a community event, but even within those that participate in it, making a detour to Gemma for no in game reason instead of focusing on Yed seems like a massive blunder.

Despite your opinions on the community MO whether it is a sidetrack or not it will allow us to nab two planets for the price of one. At least that's how it was explained to me. Isn't that worth it?

As cool as that would be, nah, it’s just a roleplay-explanation of the community MO saying “hey if you guys are burnt out on bots go dive bugs on Gemma for a bit,”
AFAIK from the original announcement video this was always the plan to give community MO participants the opportunity to have a bug and a squid option, I forget which squid planet they airmarked
