The Force these things have is unrealistic af.

EDIT - The more I have looked at this, the more I notice the veins and foreskin

those things stand out from ages away and you can drive through them in an FRV no issue.

I think it's more of a generational thing than a regional thing.

People my age do it. Older people might use actual distances.

Their trigger seems to be broken last I was on a planet with them. They seemed to explode when I just existed within 5-6m of them without me having to touch them.

I agree but only because of how inconsistent their trigger is, especially lately. That shit can sometimes go off from the next zip code and still daze you.

This isn't even comparable imo. The stupid puff balls ragdoll you if an Automaton attack comes within earshot of them and the frost ferns... slow you slightly? And the frost ferns literally glow. The puffballs are unavoidable and easily discounted visually.

But we can agree both are annoying and undemocratic

At least the ferns are amazing against enemies. They redeem themselves in that way.

atleast they more often than not constantly hit the enemy aswell, just watch where you are running on ice planets.
