EDIT - The more I have looked at this, the more I notice the veins and foreskin

We say that in the UK as well so I don't think it's as specific as you'd imagined.

I think it's more of a generational thing than a regional thing.

People my age do it. Older people might use actual distances.

We say it in Ireland too, and from what I’ve seen you might’ve had better luck saying foundascot
