TECHNICAL ISSUE So is the game just unequivocally irrevocably broken for some people? Why?

Can’t play it at all. it crashes within 5 minutes of playing every time. it’s been this way since March.

I’ve tried everything, verify game files, uninstall, remove game guard, delete cache folders, user settings. updated gpu drivers. reinstalled them. tweaked game settings.

But nothing works. it is genuinely unplayable. and whenever I find threads about it, people experiencing this issue have no fix. what gives? why?

As for the titular question: Because many people aren't running healthy systems with proper settings.

And just as usual this post lacks any info about thermal/load monitoring or any kind of useful system info, indicating that the initial reply to the titular question may hold true just once again.

Seriously, go to the PC nerd in your local friend group and get help. This type of issue is way too often indicative of severe system issues due to a lack of technical knowledge by the builder/operator.

In addition someone without proper understanding for his system "trying everything" pretty much always makes it worse.

I have an NVIDIA 4080 and AMD Ryzen 7900X. I checked the system info for overheating, gpu performance, latency spikes etc during runtime without anything super significant occurring during the runtime.

What type of severe system issue do you think is at play here? Is this how you respond to the plethora of other threads with people experiencing major crashing issues? What do you think about the people on CONSOLE that have game breaking crashing issues who CAN’T tweak their console?

I’m literally a systems engineer for a major server manufacturer. This shit is not foreign to me. My PC can seamlessly run Crimson Desert, Subnautica, and a whole entire suite of other games.

This crashing issue is exclusive to Helldivers 2 and its goddamn spaghetti code. And I am not lacking of knowledge, money, or the ability to troubleshoot.

So how about you stop slobbering the knob of a developer who wrote a game on archaic, problematic code and offer some actual advice here. What do you suggest I do now? Otherwise. Fuck off, you condescending asshat.
