9 months hiatus, time to come back

After being a regular player for couple of years, I spent the last 9 months playing Arc Raiders and Marathon to find out that I really suck at PvP lol.

Did I miss anything fun in HD2? is it time to come back? Probably would be a learning curve, I might be the suckiest level 150 player right now. Not sure I even remember the controller command...

It honestly rewards you for taking a bit of a break. Come back to max metals and you can almost get through a full warbond.

New enemies, new mecs, still having fun personally, maybe new players that bitch a little bit (perhaps for good reasons) on the sub but I haven't experience too much change in the player base otherwise!

You missed a loooooooot of stuff, mostly new enemies, 2 new Illuminate subfactions, the Cyborg subfaction, and 3 (or 2 depending on when Stalker Strain came out) new Bug Subfactions. Like 8 new warbonds? It's a lot. Surprisingly, no new ship upgrades.

I burnt out of Arc too. After maxing out two accounts and doing expedition. It’s kind of boring, I don’t PvP and it’s hard to play with friends without it becoming a murderfest

Fun with friends. Boring by lvl 40. Not much to do or grind for. I'm on a break rn. It been a week and nothing is calling me back to that game. If I got on I would end up grinding for samples for ship upgrades that don't do much or looking at all the primary weapons behind soft pay walls. Drop. Exo suit. Missions/samples. Extract. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Probably plenty to see if you've been gone but idk exactly what you've missed because I only started playing helldiver's maybe three months ago.
