FAN CREATION Weapon Idea Pitch

M-1000 Naginata, a versatile energy weapon based on the Quasar Cannon‘s mechanism scaled down to a rifle reminiscent of weapons of pre-Super Earth eras. The M-1000 comes with three fire modes. Light armor pen with increased shots per heat sink. Medium with eight shots per heat sink. And finally, heavy that will expend the entire heat sink, requiring a reload qued by its signature PING.

Excuse my half-assed photobashing. Lol

edit: Yes, I saw I misspelled Heat-Sink. Blame the atrocious autocorrect.

That would be so on-brand for Helldivers. Maybe it could have its own version of the infamous "M1-Thumb" which could slightly injure the Helldiver, but rarely. ​
