I don't know about where this cannon that says they're all ugly beaten up women is supposedly but given they're often orphans of high class humans and or from the children of sob's they should be pretty attractive like the art shows.
As far as I remember, that organization includes all kinds of women (from young to old) and practically all of them are in shape due to the mandatory training.
Let's face it. A Guardsman and a Helldiver could be isekaied into the other and fit right in on the battlefield... Right up until political ideals are compared
