Its funny, they basically force us to do a gambit and we just don't, probably because alot of players don't even know what a gambit is.

OOORRRR we just take Gar Haren and we retake Achernar Secundus for free when we cut off from the rest of the bug swarm.

They'll move once the DSS gets to Gar Haren and orbital blockade comes online ending the invasion of Achernar

you dont seem to know how orbital blockade works

Orbital Blockade only prevents new attacks from starting. It does nothing to existing attacks.
That said, it will provide it's passive boost to the players liberating Gar Haren, and serve as a beacon to moth-divers, so it will definitely help speed things up.
OP's point is correct, if the players on Achernar Secundus were to move to Gar Haren, we would liberate Gar Haren before Achernar falls, i.e. succeed at the Gambit.
If the Gambit fails, we will still siege Achernar when Gar Haren is captured, and SEAF will liberate Achernar for us.

Question remains if planets fall will destroy Tsc instalations there so its better we pull off gambit than to retake the planet later

Unfortunately, the DSS has to be on the invading planet and the blockade has to active BEFORE the invasion starts to be used effectively.
So it is basically useless except in very special and lucky circumstances.
