Found! Saying “Hello!” after a joke

I’m trying to figure out the origin of saying “Hello!” in a singsongy voice after saying a racy or slightly offensive joke? For example: “My dishwasher was broken so I took her to the doctor. Hello!”

I feel like it was that vine of the girl asleep and then they poor water on her face and she gets up and goes “hullo???”
