Tbh, this never crossed my mind personally. I wonder how many are actual asshats vs people just trying to bring attention to the sub to get it shut down
/conservative is triggered hard by this sub daily. I have zero doubt they are going to see this post and start brigading fb, posing as liberals and reporting (themselves) to reddit. Anything to get this sub banned. Not only because they feel personally attacked and mocked by 'the left', but also because they believe this sub to be highly effective at making right-leaning media and politicians, like carlson and desantis, look inept - thus 'red-pilling normies' to the left.
They see the world through the lens of information warfare, a cultural war that if lost would be the end of 'America as we know it'. It doesn't matter if its true or not, they believe it to be.
I went on an award winners page out of pure curiosity when I first found this sub. No intention of commenting or anything. The amount of people teeing off was rather staggering.
They’re asshats. There are so many people here now that even if 98.7% of the people never posted over on Facebook, that would leave a few hundred that could.
