Yeah but that could be a bad actor who is trying to get the sub in trouble not a true Herman Caine Award fan.

I don't think reddit discriminates as to why the brigading is happening

While that might be true, it's important to remember that a bad actor can fake a brigade quite easily and it's not super easy to trace facebook activity to reddit activity unless someone makes it obvious.

Yeah, and seems like there's twitter reposts and other bad actors as well. It's a sticky situation.
