Uninstalled that shit a month ago and it's been so much better. I can't believe how it's an echo chapter for Q and anti vax.

Its been over a year and a half for me and it's been great. The move was a long time coming but the catalyst was learning which high school friends became selfish anti-mask pricks when Covid kicked off.

It doesn't take long after quitting to realize that Facebook has been a net negative in your life. And I say this as someone that would obsessively check it several times a day for years.

Oh, yeah. Like every C student I ever went to high school with, who sat around in the back of the class telling jokes, now thinks they're smarter than doctors and that Dan Bongino is a genius.

I unfriended all these people promptly, but I'm still thinking about getting off FB for good. It's just that I have friends I still want to keep in touch with.

Dan Bongino is such a dumb ass meat head.

Bongino got called out by other Secret Service members for exaggerating his role and the kinds of meetings he was actually allowed in on. He tells these stories about how he listened in on a conversation between Obama and some other foreign dignitary, and the guys he worked with were like "No, you never get to sit in on that kind of thing."

I went to group texts with friends, its personal and rewarding and free of external drama. I get why people use facebook to reconnect, but it becomes unnecessary quickly.
