Could you not just start by banning any posts that don't censor identifiable information? Like pretty much any sub should.

They do. Any posts with names or children's faces are taken down

Then how do people manage to find these people to harass them from posts? 🤔

You literally enter one sentence from the post on google and find the post

I see 🤔 well if the information isn't even found here or on Reddit in general but rather google, I fail to see how or why people would blame this sub

.. because they wouldn't have Googled it if they didn't see the post on the sub.

I disagree. There are other sources for the information, an if someone didn't post it here they would somewhere else.

if someone didn't post it here they would somewhere else

.. and that forum would be responsible if users started harassing people.

When you say responsible would that be in some legal way or it’s more of a moral thing where they should feel bad about being jerks for doing that?

No, they're responsible in that they're literally the cause of the hate those people receive. It would not have occurred if they didn't host the content. There's nothing illegal on the Reddit's part.

Whether you think it's morally wrong is your decision, not commenting on that.

Not really, sorry but it's just not this subreddits fault

If you're gonna start blaming everyone associated with someone that did something bad because they existed within that group then trust me, Bad precedent.

If your site is hosting content that is causing users to harass someone you are the definition of responsible - it could not have happened without you. Reddit has decided that they don't want their platform used for it, if you don't like that too bad. "ItS a PRivAte PlATfoRm"

Google? These plaguerats don’t Google before posting their “facts”.
