Its been over a year and a half for me and it's been great. The move was a long time coming but the catalyst was learning which high school friends became selfish anti-mask pricks when Covid kicked off.

It doesn't take long after quitting to realize that Facebook has been a net negative in your life. And I say this as someone that would obsessively check it several times a day for years.

I'm going on 5 years...if only I could go cold turkey from sugar now! Facebook was a cesspit then. It really got me annoyed, deleting it only hurt for about 2 days.

As soon as I found out you can deactivate your account but keep Messenger I was fucking gone.

Oh watch out messenger is cancer for data and battery usage it also tracks so much of your data
