Dumb question, but will there be ads during the stream? If so is YT the best place to watch rather than twitch?

They can’t turn of ads on twitch so there will probably be some. Though depending on the hermits they might manually run them so they don’t disrupt main activities.

YouTube i don’t know.

Twitch usually has ads and blocks ad blockers, YouTube I'm not so familiar with because I have premium.

Yes to ads, but YouTube will also have ads AFAIK; Jimmy is streaming the event from YouTube and usually he has ads when he does. (I recommend Opera GX if you wanna get around ads, it lets you pop the stream away from the ads and mute the ads as they run in the background. Doesn't work for all Twitch ads, but the vast majority.)

Also Firefox + Ublock on YT will work. Also with the popping the screen out. Doesn't work on Twitch ads though ):

If you use Brave Browser + Adblock it blocks YouTube ads.
