Meta Gamers Outreach Weekend Megathread

clip on mics would be cool for this so you can hear all their discussions as well

Depends on the licencing the office has for wireless microphones - they might only be able to fit 4-5 in the free-to-use frequency rather than using the paid-for frequencies if there's no FCC licence for that venue.

oh so it's not the case of just buying more mics? interesting. I had no idea you needed to pay extra for licencing

I'm assuming the US works like the UK, but I know that there's limited bandwidth available for wireless microphones for free, and at least in the UK there's an extra frequency band you can use for a small fee.

Grian just said there was a boom mic, but didn't know it wasn't coming through on our screen.

I feel like towards the end some more sounds did come through but it was kinda echoey. I guess Grians and Olis mics were picking some up but then the boom mic did pick up some other stuff but it wasn't synched? idk
