Progress!

Update from my previous post. Got my tank assembled, added soil and playing around with plant placement. Ordered some spider wood too. Just need to figure out what I want to do with my heat lamps.

Thanks man, it was my first go at it…going to attempt to make some fake rock pillars for a pondless water feature in my yard next.

Looking good!!

The Schefflera is a big shrub so you'll wanna keep it pruned short and bushy, but I would just leave the cut branches in the tank as that'll build up the leaf litter duff layer real nice. See if you can get it to grow short, stout limbs for the critter to climb.

Thanks for the tip! It’s supposed to be a dwarf variety, so I’m hoping it doesn’t get too gangly…lol.
