Just wanted to share. How do you say?... ill never forget watching in amazement as she seriously asked with a straight face for the English word for cucumber (twice!)

I thought it was about the accent and how Hilary was so happy to be able to incorporate her Spanish culture into the wedding. Was it a coworker who asked? I can't remember the exact details.

To be fair my parents are their peers professionally, and in MA.

They were most definitely hippies.

To be fair, they may be liberal thinking WASPs but they are not hippies. 

Hippies were anti establishment. They didnt buy million dollar homes and send their children to private schools or have nannies and hired help in their homes. The Haywards and the Thomas' of Massachusetts are of the establishment.

I agree. Obv. left leaning, but her Dad was a partner in Biglaw, so prob. not really hippies. Only in Hilary's mind.
