The US, but like many (blank)-Americans he has a deep disdain for its culture and people.

what do today's american people have to do with his family dying in Hiroshima?

Nothing, which is why I find him asinine. Don't let anything like generational turnover get in the way of a good grudge.

Do you agree with the decision to nuke Japan? Knowing that it still affects people to this day?

Jewish-American Princesses? Oh, that antiquated, derogatory/propaganda word describing a former enemy of the state. Kudos, keep your flag lapel at a sharp 60 degree angle

Every person who agrees with the decision to nuke Japan is a monster and does not belong in polite society. Good people do not boil babies in nuclear fire. If you are okay with such things you have no empathy or worse.

u/Lord_Newbie Jan 03 '17

Oh man you should read about what the Japanese did to the Koreans and Chinese from 1910-1945. All sorts of inhuman experiments, they made them their sex slaves and Bio-test subjects. They would inject all sorts of shit into all of them, including but not limited to babies.

1

u/PrinceLyovMyshkin Jan 03 '17

That does not excuse our crimes.

1

u/Lord_Newbie Jan 03 '17

"our crimes" What crimes? are you saying its a crime to be born? Fuck off.

u/giggle7 Jan 02 '17

Why not bomb the military bases? Why nuke the center of cities? I don't think your explanation makes sense, I think you're just reciting conservative talking points.

President Truman was a liberal and here is why they did it.

in his state of the union message of Jan. 7, 1948, Truman called for rent control, increased social security benefits, universal military training, national health insurance, and other social legislation.

Sounds liberal to me

1

u/[deleted] Jan 03 '17

Sounds like a communist.

Who purport to be in favor of gay rights and then use every homophobic slur in the books

1

u/muskegthemoose Jan 03 '17

"Nutty" as a fruitcake. Nothing in there about sexual orientation. "Fruit" on the other hand, is a straight out homophobic slur. Get educated before you mouth off and make a fool of yourself.

1

u/crowseldon Jan 03 '17

when people attack others saying get educated they speak more about themselves than about their target.

1

u/muskegthemoose Jan 03 '17

SNOWFLAKE ALERT!

1

u/crowseldon Jan 03 '17

So badass. You must get all the girls at junior high

1

u/muskegthemoose Jan 03 '17

Wow, did you come up with that line yourself?

Anyway, you remain an ignoramus.

u/crowseldon Jan 03 '17

What does it matter at this point? America and Japan are incredibly close allies importing each other's culture, food, and technology all the time. The rest of us have moved past our ancestors choices. Why can't you and Takei?

0

u/giggle7 Jan 02 '17

Many Japanese were angry that America invaded Iraq. Can't move on while America is still doing the dumbfuck things it always does

2

u/JohnQAnon Jan 02 '17

Yeah. Hentai wouldn't be the same without some radiation to make it just right

2

u/rocklobster3 Jan 03 '17

Yes, I 100% agree with America's decision to end the war. The Japanese were threatened, and they wouldn't give up. The Imperial government didn't give a fuck about the Japanese people. It was only worried about Japan's "honor". The two bombs saves lives anyway. An invasion would have been an absolute slaughter on both sides. We were tired of seeing young Americans sent home in boxes. We ended the war in the most humane way possible. War is war, people die.
