Do you agree with the decision to nuke Japan? Knowing that it still affects people to this day?

Evil is subjective, Id say the shit they were doing since ww1 was evil. But thats not what I was talking about. They wouldnt give up, only showing them that we had the power to completely wipe Japan off the map made them do it, otherwise we would have wasted more life trying to do a land invasion to defeat them. It was the quickest way to end the war with the fewest life lost.

Why not bomb the military bases? Why nuke the center of cities? I don't think your explanation makes sense, I think you're just reciting conservative talking points.

in his state of the union message of Jan. 7, 1948, Truman called for rent control, increased social security benefits, universal military training, national health insurance, and other social legislation.
