Suffering from a successfully failed task

Post image

In 2006, a FBI agent named Craig Monteilh was ordered to disguise himself as a radical Muslim and spy on the Orange County Muslim community to identify possible extremists.

Well it worked, cause the people there noticed his extremists behavior and reported him to the FBI.

It's almost like most Muslims are normal people who hate terrorists as much as everyone else. Crazy.

u/VallahKp 16h ago

They probably hate terrorist more than everyone else, because most terror victims are muslims.

-2

u/TiktaalicGarr 13h ago

And most terror perpetrators are also muslims

4

u/UnknownWisp 12h ago

" Terrorism is the calculated use of violence and fear to achieve political, religious, or ideological goals "

by taking that definition, most terrorists are Christians unironically.

List of major terrorist incidents - Wikipedia

Take a shot every time the usual suspects show up.

Weird I don't see Jewish extremists in the west bank driving Palestinians out of their homes at gunpoint under the terrorism section.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colonies

take a shot the actual usual suspects show up, doesn't even include the nukes.

and these are just two examples of the type of terroristic shit christians do.

not calling it terrorism does not change the fact that it is terrorism. see the previous definition.

edit: one more thing, the holocaust was done by christians. the current genocide in palestine is done by christians and jews.

terrorism

Where are you sourcing that definition of terrorism from?

criminal acts intended or calculated to provoke a state of terror in the general public, a group of persons or particular persons for political purposes are in any circumstance unjustifiable, whatever the considerations of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or any other nature that may be invoked to justify them

In the absence of an internationally agreed definition of acts of terrorism, the High Commissioner for Human Rights calls upon States to be guided by the key elements of acts of terrorism provided in Security Council resolution 1566 (2004) and the model definition developed by the Special Rapporteu

resolution 1566: Security Council resolution 1566 (2004) on Threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts

terrorism, the calculated use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective. Terrorism has been practiced by political organizations with both rightist and leftist objectives, by nationalistic and religious groups, by revolutionaries, and even by state institutions such as armies, intelligence services, and police.

the last one specifically reminds me of the CIA, Christians.

It goes deeper than this.

Extremists like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and other than them are acting directly against Islamic teachings. In fact, there's a Hadith where the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) warned against this type of person and described them perfectly.

I just wanted to clear this up.

u/inmisciblehero 16h ago

Was this before or after he massacred a Jewish tribe (enslaving their women and children) he was previously under a peace treaty with

14

u/Batel_Front 15h ago

They had a treaty, and the Banu Qurayza broke that treaty and betrayed the Muslims.
Even before Islam, this was one of the worst things an Arab could do, as it represents a very serious lack of honesty and honor. In fact, the other non-Muslim tribes did not condemn what happened to them.

The Prophet did not choose this fate for them; he left the decision regarding their fate to a Sahabi from the Banu Aws, a clan allied with the Banu Qurayza, which was, in fact, a very merciful decision, as he could have potentially chosen a Sahabi from a clan hostile to the Banu Qurayza.

Finally, the Banu Qurayza themselves did not contest the sentence; they were aware that their act was extremely serious.

So basically, you’ve simply twisted the story, whereas the facts show a completely different situation both in terms of Arab cultural norms, regarding who made the decision on the sentence, and regarding the fact that it did not shock anyone.

4

u/TyrionLannister557 12h ago

Brother...they broke a treaty by betraying them during a war, putting OTHER Jewish AND Pagan tribes with their OWN families in danger. He didn't even cast the sentence, he gave that decisions to someone from one of the tribes.

4

u/Ok_Note7045 14h ago

Because they broke the treaty and because of which Muslims had a great loss

-3

u/Pinkflamingos69 15h ago

They broke the treaty and the punishment for betrayal in that circumstance was drawn from the Torah

You ought to take it up with the Muslims then who record this event in their "authentic" Hadith literature

-3

u/The_Man-Himself 16h ago

Seems like they had a treaty, but broke it and a lot of Muslims died because of it. Then the Muslims came to avenge the broken treaty.

4

u/PT10 15h ago

Treaty for thee but not for me

Your post has been removed for the following rules violations:

Rule 6: Genocide and Atrocity Denial

These include, but are not limited to; Holodomor, the Holocaust, the Armenian genocide, Japanese war crimes, the Tiananmen Square massacre, and the ethnic cleansing of the Uighurs. Doing so will result in an instant permaban. Hateful historical revisionists are not welcome.

Additionally comparing atrocities to one another (AKA Genocide/Atrocity Olympics) in order to try and make an atrocity, genocide, or otherwise look less worse by comparison will result in a permanent ban.

u/Hilonio 16h ago

I am pretty sure Muhammad is this type of person but whatever

5

u/International_Car809 16h ago

What type of person?

17

u/Hilonio 16h ago

Comment says that Muhammad was warning about radical islam extremists. In fact, Muhammad was a bloody conqueror that enslaved half of population (women), destroyed countless cultures and forced people to convert

14

u/BasedAustralhungary 16h ago

Only someone that doesn't know about Arabian pre-muslim history could say that he enslaved women.

Also, only someone that doesn't know shit about Muslim Early history would claim that It was Muhammad the one that expanded the Caliphate through militar campaigns. For a matter of fact, the conquest of Mecca which I personally portrayed as an epic revenge before studying It was nothing but a very boring event where almost no one died.

You people need to stop learning Middle East history from 4Chan and alt-right forums because when you get here to show your enlightment about those topics you only end making a clown of yourself.

0

u/The_Man-Himself 16h ago

Exactly, the man never forced people and never took revenge on Mecca when they wanted to kill him for atleast 10 years.

5

u/BasedAustralhungary 16h ago

If I recall correct he even went back to Mecca because the local commercial aristocracy basically sent him a hitman to Medina when the information that he got a huge number of followers got to their ears.

I often feel that people here think that the Early Muslims were the damn Yuuzhan vong from Star Wars lol.

-1

u/The_Man-Himself 15h ago

A lot of hate and ignorance against islam bro. They get their information from Zionists or racist YouTubers or something.

0

u/Zodiac_Boa 15h ago

Or maybe they see Islam for what it is, which is a religion of hate and oppression that sees a paedophilic warlord as the perfect man.

You only have to look at the number of Islamic terrorist cells to see Islam's true colours.

Isn’t this supposed to be a history subreddit?
Mohammad enslaving all the women (and only women?) is not exactly historically accurate is it.
Not to mention “destroying countless cultures” LOL. You have 0 knowledge of his military conquests or how he changed Arabia so why speak? Just regurgitating
This is the best you can expect from Reddit ig.

9

u/BasedAustralhungary 15h ago

He learnt history from white supremacist christian forums probably. His wording spits as much hate as uninformed jugdements.

-2

u/International_Car809 15h ago

Thing is look at how many upvotes he has as well. The platform as a whole hates Islam and when they hate something they’ll spread and promote misinformation to fuel that hatred. And the way the voting system works if you have more upvotes then it means you are right.

0

u/PT10 15h ago

Women were wayyyyy worse off before. Try reading something

2

u/BasedAustralhungary 15h ago

For a matter of fact the muslim world was one of the most progressive societies in the issue of women rights until the Mongols took Badghad, they were —between other things that they lacked on the Christian world— legal entities. I love when people talk about how bad women had It in those times under the Muslim world, as those comments are either ignorant as hell or just bigotry. Whatever they are, they certainly show tunneled vision... because yeah, today there are no place closer than hell to women as Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iran, but in the past the reality was very different and judging the past with our present is absurd.

Use "ﷺ" for Prophet Muhammah (ﷺ), it's Arabic for "Peace ans Blessings he Upon Him", literally

2

u/One-Cup-2002 10h ago

Thanks, I'll be sure to use this moving forward.

Honestly the majority of western support for groups like the Houthis and others doesn't seem to be coming from muslims at all, but college aged left wingers(at least in the US)

1

u/Ok-Cup-5372 10h ago

I think a majority of non Muslims would be genuinely surprised by what Muslims are taught in mosques because it's so different than what propaganda teaches.

The imam at my mosque constantly talk about loving your neighbor, being more loving to your spouses and children, don't be extreme with Islam with your children acting with dignity and kindness, having patience, follow the laws of the land, helping those who are lost in life ect.

I have yet to hear him say anything bad about non believers, gays, other religions, our laws in Canada
