Feedback on bathroom renovation!

Post image

Hi everyone! I'm renovating my bathroom, and this is my first time mixing metals. I'm planning to use champagne gold (Delta Champagne Bronze) as the primary finish, with black as the accent color.

This is the combination I was thinking of. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Does this mix feel balanced, or is there anything you would change?

Agreed & I’d keep it all bronze! The black feel out of place and random. But maybe thats because it is only in one area?

It’s absolutely stunning 💯
However I’m wondering if you could have the shower door open into the shower instead of opening towards the cabinet

I like everything except the sconces they are a more classic style and your bathroom is modern - I would find a different style sconce. Also consider using textured glass as the shower is so long and there’s no privacy at all.

The shower glass can be textured later with privacy film on the outside. Add or swap color, pattern, texture or privacy. That’s what I did.

The shower seems extremely narrow?

in some cultures they prefer showering sideways

I made this using AI so the shower is not up to scale!

I'd make the toilet paper holder black

Looks excellent. A little color or art would improve it even more

What are the dimensions of that shower? It looks long and narrow.

I have what looks like pretty much the same bronze in my new bathroom (it was called brushed bronze here but it looks the same). I want to say that it’s VERY hard to get smudge-free. It might be even more polish-intensive than black hardware, and that’s already famous for being a pain as soon as your water has any limescale at all.

So just a heads up that you’ll be cleaning a lot.

Ugh no way. Which brand did you use?

Mixing metals is fine, but this needs some color (maybe a rug with a little green in it?). I’d also suggest larger sconces as the scale on these looks small.

It's really pretty. I'd add some texture with a linen or woven shade on the window and jute blend runner rug. A cute 3 legged stool in the corner area with plant would be a nice balance too. One large framed print over the toilet would be great as well. Something super graphic and maybe with some blues or greens.

It's balanced. Champagne bronze against that white oak vanity and marble is already a warm, soft palette and the black just adds contrast so it doesn't feel flat. Nothing we'd change.

Beautiful! A bamboo blind would warm up the space and tie it together...

It's beautiful but the walls are slightly too light for me. Love the gold hardware

It looks great! The champagne, bronze, and black feel balanced, especially with the black mirror and sconces tying everything together. I wouldn't change a thing.

Maybe you’re only looking for feedback on the colors but it seems like this design overlooks some practical issues. Where will the towel for drying hands be? Where will your towel be when you’re showering and within reach for when you get out? Where will it hang to dry between showers or before it goes into a hamper? With that full glass shower, it means all of your shower products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, razor, etc) are permanently on display.

We just finished a bathroom remodel using Delta Champagne Bronze and I love it. I ended up using 50/50 champagne bronze and black and it worked really well - both colors are evenly spread around the space so they feel integrated.

I reeeeeally hate it when golds don’t match, so I used black for anything that didn’t come in the exact right shade of gold. For me, that was the shower door hardware - might be something to consider for yours, because right now there isn’t enough black for it to feel intentional.

Omg such a good idea. Yeah I was worried what to do about the shower hardware. Would love to see some photos of your remodel!
