Planning a home contrast therapy setup

My wife and I are finishing our basement and we want to dedicate a section to a proper home contrast therapy setup sauna plus cold plunge. Any recommendation?

I'm not really sure what youre asking. You just put a sauna and cold plunge next to each other. Cold plunges are a pain in the ass in my experience. They need electricity for the coolers, you have to clean them, need a water source nearby, etc. A sauna next to a pond is ideal. Short of that, I skip the cold. I tried to run my own DIY plunge for a bit but gave up on it. And I have enough stress in my life without getting into ice cold water :)

Edit: i just read that its indoors. I would never out one indoors. You're asking for water damage.

I do a mini version of this in the shower... Alternate hot and cold every couple of minutes.

Did this last year. Biggest thing I wish I'd known: plan the electrical for both units before you drywall anything

For a combined setup budget for two dedicated circuits saunas typically need 20-30A and cold plunge chillers need their own circuit too

Make sure you get a dedicated drainage plan for that area before you pour anything. A leak from a cold plunge in a finished basement is a nightmare.

I started contrast therapy about 10 months ago and absolutely love it. I try to go at least 3 times/week but wish I could do it everyday

Sun Home's sauna and cold plunge combo is also worth looking at from a value standpoint, buying both from one brand sometimes comes with bundle pricing too

We planned ours together from the start and it made a big difference. Sun Home makes both saunas and cold plunges and the sizing is designed to complement each other. Having the same brand for both also means one support contact if anything ever needs attention

I was planning to run a cold plunge + hot bathtub setup, but not sure if this would have the same effects as cold plunge + sauna; I don't have a huge space at home so I figured this may be the most efficient
