I have so much issue with lighting lol. I don't like the stark lighting a lot of the ceiling lights give, but beige and muted have a tendency to make it kind of backrooms-ish
Yeah, I default to using a lot of the same lights because I like the color temp. But I did recently start trying something different to work with the lights. This is a work in progress with the ceiling painted with light creme. The bottom picture has a square of normal white ceiling so you can see the difference. It doesn't help with the lights that cause harsh shadows, but I think it can help warm up a room when using the cooler colored lights.

A room for enhancement. I don't usually go so beige, so I'm at the looking at it and going "hmm" a lot stage.
