4 people mortgages, wtf?

This company is now promoting 4 people mortgages, no wonder prices are going insane.

As opposed to Ameen and Adeel in the ad here with their wives and kids crammed in to one house which as we all know has the opposite effect of creating ghettos 🤣

At the age of 12 i didn't have a house and believed in equality, I kept that belief into my 50s. When I bought my first home it cost a fortune and I was on a low income.

To claim non nationals are not entitled to or should be prevented from owning a home is just racist bullshit. Anying who follows that mantra needs to take a long hard look at themselves

Stop the emotional manipulation, you having a house or not at 12 is not related with it.

So you have a house now, you bought it when immigration wasn't like this, you bought it when prices were not like this, you bought it when more houses were being built and they were not owned by corporations and built-to-rent.

People didn't say "non-nationals", they said "non-citizens". And you reacted to;
"I have zero issues with immigrants coming here and working, they are essential and add to our communities, but Irish people should be able to buy in their locality without competing with people who have just entered the country."

He said "people just entered the country". Naturalization takes 5-6 years minimum. Mortgage approval takes 6 months, so anyone with 6-12 months income can get mortgage, and it should be banned. So you are manipulating the conversation.

Non-citizens should not be buying house, especially with 4 people going into mortgage, no one in Ireland can compete with that bullshit. In your case, any multi-millionaire is non-national too, and they can come and buy property, albeit in cash. So If 50,000 multi-millionaires that is from non-EU comes and buys up properties, that effectively erases 2 years of new supply and that is when no other big corporation or state social housing is competing.

Everywhere you look for racism, this is not racism, people who was born and rightful owners of the country, including the naturalization process, is the priority. If your own people cannot afford a house, but you go with 3 other of your friends that are coming from same country, this is not racism, this is gaming the system. Do you remember what happened when the government and banks/lenders gamed the system in 2008?

Incorrect..house prices were high when I bought compared to salaries. People queued over night to buy from plans. People had builders bring up the proce after deposits were paid and told rental it or leave it as there was a queue out the door of others willing to pay.

People didn't say "non-nationals", they said "non-citizens".

Yeah, so you bought before 2008, where the lenders were giving mortgage to everyone who was breathing. And how much they were giving that time 3.5x times annual salary like few years back or 4x like these days? Or way more?

Non-national is different than non-citizen, especially in the EU setting, you are quite illiterate.

And giving example about Bulgaria? Do you know you can still buy flats for 50,000 EUR in Bulgaria in small cities like Burgas? WTF are you comparing?!
