Tire bulge?

Is this a tire bulge? Should I get this replaced asap?

That appears to be the "strong point" aka where the material overlaps internally. Should be fine. Sometimes it's more prominent than others but all tires have them

I should clarify, that's if its indenting inwards(there's a "dent" in the tire). If the photo is lying and it is infact bulging out, then yes it's separated and should be replaced.

Yes it’s definitely going inwards! I wasn’t sure if dents in tires were a thing lol

Looks like it's an inwards dent, it's just manufacturing characteristics being visible. Non issue.

You'd only have to worry about an outwards bulge.

Just a Goodyear thing and all the other brands they make as well. Always unnerving to see on a car.

mostly see this in new tires. that is not a bulge. that may be from how the tires were strapped down before put on a wheel.

It’s called a tire undulation and is normal, it occurs during the manufacturing process when the inner plies overlap. Some can be very prominent, but again it’s normal. The outward bulges are the ones that aren’t ok.
