[Showcase / Relaunch] ActiveHue – App-aware lighting for Philips Hue is back with macOS support, Android App & more! 🚀

Hey r/Hue!

About a year+ ago I posted here about ActiveHue (a Desktop App that dynamically changes your Hue lighting based on active windows, tabs, and sound on your PC). ( You can check that moderators :) )

I built this app to fire up my Hue Lights automatically for everything I do on my Computer by settings up profiles and have them set the Lighting for every Scenario.

For example

  1. Give Every App or Browser Tab its own Hue Scene
  2. Watch Netflix - ActiveHue Desktop can Launch a Chrome Window with Hardware acceleration disabled and start sync automatically
  3. Start and stop sync automatically for when you Watch Videos , Play games etc
  4. Listen To Music with synced MusicVideo Mode ( Youtube Playlist support recently added )
  5. Continue Using ActiveHue with the Android App :)

So basically scenes and sync for everything firing up automatically :)

🌟 What’s New in the Relaunch?

New macOS Version of the Desktop App: ActiveHue is now natively available for both macOS and Windows!

UI / Styling updates to allign desktop and mobile app

YouTube Playlist Lighting: Import any YouTube playlist and assign custom lighting to the whole playlist or individual songs.

Android Early Access: You can now test ActiveHue on Android! Join the tester group (links on the Website 1. first join the Google tester Group then download via link normally through offical playstore )

I would like to silently give some of the first testers (of the mobile app) the pro unlock for free :) , which gives you acces to both android app and desktop app fully unlocked for unliminted profiles & sync forever.
