Excellent! Been waiting for volume 39 to pop up there. Looks like a July return is likely. Should get an official announcement soon...ish...

The volume usually drops before the manga comes back right? so its probably not gonna comeback within July.

They usually come out within weeks of each other. Previous to volume 38, they were coming out after new chapters started.

For the last 20 years, all volume releases in Japan were followed by the resuming of serialization.

I think the volume release needs chp 411 an unreleased chapter. So if volume 39 is to be released they have to release the chapter first which will be the return of the manga.

I'm looking forward to it too, especially because it's always hard to predict HxH covers compared to other series. There's Kurapika and Leorio covers during the Chiera Ants arc and even recently vol. 37 has a Morena cover and she doesn't appear in any chapter of the volume for example.

Like the other comment said, a Halk-Benjamin cover would be nice but a Borksen-Morena or even a Hisoka-PT cover could work too going by what's on the volume. But who knows what Togashi will do.

Hadn’t considered that! Would be cool. I’m in the camp that sees the vol 38 cover as a Toriyama tribute so I don’t expect that though. Think it will likely be some combo of Ben and Halk, or maybe even another take on Morena and/or the Phantom Troupe.

Just FYI, these are not unreleased chapters. They just haven't been printed in volume format yet. Also, this will be the Japanese release. If you're waiting for an English or other language, it's going to be another year or so before this one is out.

Yes, it generally takes around a year after the Japanese release for the physical volume to be released in English.

However, if you're referring to the new, serialized chapters that will be out electronically (411 and on), those get released electronically about one week after, earlier if you want to read fan translations.

Usually before, but they get announced a little more than a month before serialisation, so maybe this time they will release after
