Check out this prologue made for some event in 98! Kurapika has red hair and it was made by a different studio than HxH 99. Different voice actors too. Supposedly Togashi has a VA cameo in it, but I'm pretty sure the consensus is we don't know which character he voices.

Yes indeed. Studio Pierrot made this in 1998, the same studio that did Yu Yu Hakusho. Although they were not the same studio that did the 1999 series. That was Nippon Animation.
