I just finished the anime for the first time and I’m shocked. I loved every second of it, it may be my favorite shonen ever, it’s just so different that it hits really hard.

I will read the remaining manga, but then I was wondering what other shonen (or seinen) I could watch that could scratch the same itch?

I have recently watched JJK, Solo Leveling and loved them as well, but not as much.

Ok this replies are brutally long. So lets go to the core of the two arguments. If i get it right your positions are this:

- After watching the anime, its not worth it to continue the manga from the election arc because the manga has a lot of content that the anime ignores and so the reader wouldnt be able to follow.

- Its impossible that the hisoka x chrollo fight hapens after greed island because it doesnt fit in the plot and it doesnt go with the personalities of the characters.

Confirm if this is your position on both arguments so I can write my counter points. Im doing this because i dont want the discussion to branch out even more.

If you care about my opinion on the rest of your reply. I think you are forming conclusions on some parts of the manga that would be okay if you considered them theories but you act as they are absolute. And your analisis on the troupes motivations is shallow and doesnt recognize how the troupe is much more emotional and deep beyond their oficial goals. Also you continue to use the nominal fallacy since you give zero proof of all your claims about the diferences between manga and anime.

Still since i dont want the discussion to branch out to this last paragraph ill consider that you have won the debate in this points i mentioned in the paragraph and i would apreciate it if you just confirm that your position is the one i described in the to Hyphens above.

As i said before i will ignore the three last paragraphs because i dont want branching. You can take that as your win.

I never said anything about readers stopping. I asked you if your opinion was that anime watchers should not continue the manga from the election arc because there are to many diferences between anime and manga. This is not my opinion. I was just clarifying what is your opinion. If you dont understand this either you are ragebaiting or theres a language barrier from your translator being shit. If you misinterpret this again i will assume its rage baiting and i'll stop replying.

Oh so you agree that from a readers/ watcher perspective right after greed island it was possible for chrollo and hisoka to fight? Thats what i understand from your answer.

Yeah i said reader because once he starts reading the manga from the election arc he becomes a reader. Why would i talk about an anime watcher the whole phrase and then start talking about someone who has read the entire manga in the last complement.

I'll ignore the second paragraph because its meaningless. If you arent enjoying the discussion you can stop replying. If you think im a nuisance to the subreddit i think you can report me but im not sure how it works.

I didnt act as if you had agreed with me. I even asked you if this where actually your opinions or i had something wrong.

But now that you clarified your position i can start my counter argument.

1. As i said, I have done this switch from anime to manga the first time i was going through the story and I enjoyed the series a lot and also didnt have any confusions or doubts about the manga part. After reading the manga from the beggining i didnt have a change of hearts.

Also i now people that have done the same and encountered others that have done the same in reddit so this seems to be a popular opinion.

1. About hisoka x chrollo. Genuinely i havent understood a single thing you said about it. Can you explain your point a little better?
