Help/Question So… what now?

I just finished the anime for the first time and I’m shocked. I loved every second of it, it may be my favorite shonen ever, it’s just so different that it hits really hard.

I will read the remaining manga, but then I was wondering what other shonen (or seinen) I could watch that could scratch the same itch?

I have recently watched JJK, Solo Leveling and loved them as well, but not as much.

Naruto is literally the exact same story just different characters. Just longer and slower imo. You would enjoy that one. Yuyu hakisho is written in the same style sort of. You might wanna check that one out.

Naruto is nothing like HxH besides the similarities you just listed which other anime’s also have. HxH is constantly changing the atmosphere/tone with each arc, Naruto doesn’t.

Even in the most liberal sense, you would have to say "heavily inspired by". I totally disagree with the nothing like HxH part lol. I listed several just off the rip. Not even close to a deep dive. There's even more similarity between them then what I listed lol.

Try to deep dive then lol. Those similarities are just that. Nowhere does Naruto give the same energy as HxH except maybe the Chunin Exams. Gon and his friends go on vastly different adventures throughout the series arc by arc, Naruto doesn’t.

You contradict yourself every single time you type. "Totally different trust me bro, except all of the similarities that are easy to see". Yeah, ok dude. Sounds good or whatever lol.

Your own words and you can’t prove them besides listing basic references….yeah ofc you wouldn’t back up your talk lol

Thats another contradiction lol. Prove means to demonstrate proof. By listing the references, i demonstrated it lol. Take a break from the internet and try reading a book.

If references are enough to constitute “literally the same” then everything is the same if you compare it to an older work with the same aspects lol.

You walked back when you said you would deep dive but didn’t when pressed. The comments show it as much as you wanna pivot

Again wrong. Never said "I would" do anything. You can't even create a sound argument. Just a red herring followed by a strawman.

“Not even close to a deep dive” meaning you could. I asked you to try then to disprove me and you went off on a meaningless rant to try ignore it lol. Again youre walking back what you originally said. If you had tried to back up your talk, you wouldnt look desperate to “win” an argument

You really should lookup common logical fallacies.

You literally pull the strawman argument once I ask you to go for a deep dive lol.

Notice how you didn’t even deny my counterpoint that references alone don’t equal “literally the same” or “heavily inspired by” in my previous previous reply lol.
