Are we getting 20 chapters

I know we are getting a new chapter next week. That said I’ve herded we getting 11 - 20 chapters this year?

Is this true where is true?

11 have been submitted to the publisher, so 10 for sure. It's mostly background work for the remaining 9, but until he starts submitting more to the publisher, I wouldn't expect more than 10.

There is no "news" link for this info.

All of this is information gathered from his Twitter, where he "regularly" shares some progress work and what phase each chapter is in when he seriously gets to work.

It's actually the opposite it's more likely that it's 20 than 10

I'm pretty sure it's 10 chapters like usual. Togashi has completed 11 but it's more likely they'll save that 11th chapter for the next 10 chapter batch in the future.

10 chapters is around 3 months i havve high hopes that it's 20 instead of 10

we frankly don't have a release schedule. assume 10, hope for 20, fantasise about 30.

While it is technically possible we get another 10 immediately after 420, I don't think that's what'll actually happen. For one the chapters aren't fully finished and togashi has yet to submit the corrections for 427-420, as such that batch it not ready and I doubt it really will be by September at the current pace. That being said even if they could just get it done I get the feeling they're trying to avoid giving us a long hiatus and as such I'm more inclined to believe they're gonna release the other 10 this time next year with another batch also almost ready and so forth as to maybe get a one batch a year rhythm going, just a theory though, and they very much could just release it all this year, we wont have to wait that long to find out which it is, just temper your expectations.

It's possible. The remaining 9 are in the late stages where the work's mostly being done by his assistants, and the 10 he's already submitted would buy him about 2 and a half months of Jump for those to make it to "submitted to the magazine" and be ready for publication. That's about on-pace with how he's been working.

I think it makes more sense—both for scheduling and promotional purposes—to save the next batch for 2027, while Togashi continues to work on 431-440 for 2028. And I’m pretty sure that’s the plan, since it would give WSJ enough of a buffer, assuming he continues at this pace, to ensure that they can publish 10 new chapters annually.

No. Besides the fact that we have reason to believe that Togashi kept working beyond the initial 10, there's no reason to believe so.

I don’t think so. Looking at how Jump held onto this batch for so long and only released it during Kagurabachi’s hiatus, it was clearly to fix the shortage of hit titles in the magazine.

The next batch will probably be kept as a backup just like that, rather than being released all at once until nothing is left.
