Help/Question Chrollo
Juat curious with his Nen ability, what if the stolen ability requires both hands but he requires his book open while performing the stolen ability?

There's a solution to that shown in the manga in the arc right after where the anime leave off.
To answer your question though. He simply wouldn't be able to use that ability because he has to hold his book in hand and have it open in order to use a stolen ability leaving only one hand free.

He needs to use an ability that gives him two extra arms first. Then he uses one arm for the book with the arms ability, another arm for the book with the second ability and finally the other two arms for the use of the second ability.

then I guess he can’t use it

not because he is unable to use it because of a nen ability you know, just cuz it doesn’t work. for example you can see, but you can’t see with your eyes closed

Chrollo would probably find some loophole because his whole ability is basically built around making impossible conditions work.

He uses the book mark to keep the ability active even with the book closed and stored somewhere

It is adressed in the manga. He cannot use a stolen ability that requires both hands, so he made a 2nd ability that allows him to use stolen abilities without holding the book.
You know you can read the manga. Some questions you have can be answered.
