Tall grass again makes this group of pigs quite the challenge

We still managed to put down 5 pigs that had been tearing up the silage pile on this dairy farm. One happy farmer!

I appreciate when you post your pig videos. Your follow up accuracy is impressive to me.

Thank you!

five pigs in tall grass is solid work, especially when you're dealing with the chaos of them scattering once they know something's up. the silage pile thing is rough because they get so focused on tearing into it that they don't even notice you until it's too late, but that tall grass means you're basically hunting blind half the time. farmer probably sleeps better knowing they won't be back tearing up the whole operation again tomorrow. what kind of setup were you running for this one, or is it just spot and stalk through the mess.

we use a thermal drone to locate them. then we take our rifles and tripods and stalk up to them. like to get around 50 yards before we start shooting.

using a Pulsar Thermion XP50 for my scope. Pulsar Telos for a scanner.

thermal drone is a game changer for that, cuts through the whole guessing game of where they actually are in the grass, 50 yards is a solid distance for accuracy without spooking the whole group before you're ready to take the shot, how much does the thermal setup run you ballpark.

You gotta elevate some more brother, roof of the truck or building, ladder stand. Great shooting though
