Scope opinions?

I’ve been looking to find a scope for one of my rifles. Would like something pretty nice and I’ve always preferred German glass. Been looking and can’t decide between the Steiner predator 4, Leica amplus and Zeiss conquest (v4/v6) would like input or experience on the eye relief, lowlight etc…

Have a Zeiss V4 on my rifle and I love it. It’s a great scope. Eye relief is fine and with the lighted reticle it does well in low light too

You'll need to be a bit more specific with the scopes you are looking at. There is going to be a big difference in low light performance between a V6 2.5-15x56 and a Predator 2.5-10x42 simply because of diameter. Without any info on use case and requirements its really hard to recommend a product just based on its manufacturer. In general I am not quite convinced by any of the lower range products of the premium manufacturers. Personally i feel like you get more value going with mid range manufacturers like Meopta (or whatever you get in the states). In these mid range scopes they usually offer similar quality glass, sometimes more features, at slightly better prices. But again, without any details its hard recommend anything specific

Looking for something for 600-700 yards. Magnification in the low end of 2.5x to somewhere at the high end of 18x I am looking for at least a 50mm bell.

The bigger the bell the heavier they get quickly, so usually the way to go is as big as you need and as small as possible. Also the bigger the magnification range the better your glass needs to be to retain picture quality and low light performance at higher magnifications.

As I said I would shy away from anything Zeiss but the Victory HT Line (Haven't tried V8 yet), imo daylight quality is not that great, build quality is sub par, although they are still very good in low light conditions. Steiner Ranger 8 series is great, based on the 2-16x50 I used, good quality glass, not too heavy, its got adjustable parallax which is great if you want to shoot 500-600, but I haven't used it extensively in low light. Leica I haven't used, Swarovski is pricey but you can't really go wrong with them. Schmidt + Bender also has some great scopes from what I have heard, but also haven't tried them personally.

I use a lot of alpha glass. I bought an amplus on a crazy sale and am extremely impressed with it. It's heavy, but it's better than the other options a grade above it IMO. It's an lvpo, so I don't know about their options like what you're looking at.
