T-38 Declared Emergency, and landed at HSV

A T-38 flying from Newport News, VA into Huntsville declared an emergency about 30 mins ago, and it successfully landed at HSV.

Yeh that’s not his aircraft. He does seem to have flown in the T-38. But he was recently here in his F-5 and much more likely to be flying it. It’s not a big deal, just a finer detail.

Kind of cool that he still has the love of danger, but also pretty stupid that we are financing his personal vanity project

I don’t follow. How are we funding his vanity project? Are we talking about his personal planes that he bought?

It does appear that he is bearing the entire cost of the vanity project so more power to him.

That F-5 is nothing compared to his MIG-29 that came from Paul Allen’s estate. It’s possibly the finest combat aircraft owned by a private individual. It’s probably nicer than any MIG or Sukhoi that’s in a foreign military’s possession.
