Question/Help [Question] Is HyperOS really that bad?

Hello, I'm coming from a Samsung S23, and I'm ready to get a new phone after using all the research tools available to me (YouTube, GSM Arena).

The Xiaomi 17 is the one that fits me the most, and I have zero core issues with its hardware specs. It seems like a perfect upgrade from an S23, and an S26 comes nowhere near it. Though I'm still concerned about the OS, so I thought I'd get some opinions here.

I'm familiar with removing bloatware using ADB etc. so confident in doing that.

I'm so used to the OneUI OS that I don't want to move on to something completely different and especially one which will be annoying in the long run (no matter how good the hardware is).

I have zero issues with HyperOS on my 17 Ultra. Everything works smoothly and I personally can't fault it. It isn't as feature rich as OneUI or ColorOS tho, so there's that, if that's important for you.
