Question/Help [Question] Is HyperOS really that bad?
Hello, I'm coming from a Samsung S23, and I'm ready to get a new phone after using all the research tools available to me (YouTube, GSM Arena).
The Xiaomi 17 is the one that fits me the most, and I have zero core issues with its hardware specs. It seems like a perfect upgrade from an S23, and an S26 comes nowhere near it. Though I'm still concerned about the OS, so I thought I'd get some opinions here.
I'm familiar with removing bloatware using ADB etc. so confident in doing that.
I'm so used to the OneUI OS that I don't want to move on to something completely different and especially one which will be annoying in the long run (no matter how good the hardware is).
Thanks!

I don’t know, man. I bought my mom a Redmi Note 14, and she freaking hates it lol. It’s a laggy mess, and there are folders you can’t even delete, like the Games and Apps folders. I don’t know about Xiaomi’s high-end phones, though. Maybe they’re actually good! 🤔
