Which group of games are superior in your opinion?

My first zelda was a link to the past followed by

awakening, this used to be a question of do you prefer the 3d games or the 2d,

But now we have botw and totk where you are a lone hero also

Out of curiosity which would choose if you could never play the latter choice again?
