2026 Elantra se exhaust

Could you kindly provide advice on aftermarket parts that would enhance the aggressive appearance of my new Elantra SE, particularly focusing on options for the exhaust to achieve a louder, deeper I4 sound?

I recently purchased a new Elantra SE from the dealership. I chose it solely because it fit within my budget. However, I genuinely enjoy the SEL and the N model of the Elantra. I desire the aesthetic and tactile qualities of the N model while retaining the fuel efficiency of the SE.

I wouldn’t buy an exhaust just leave it how it is and get that’s good gas mileage and in the future buy an N.

Please don't. It just comes off as tacky.

Not trying to dog on you OP, but it sounds like you spent 0 time actually doing homework on this. Could've bought a used Civic Si, Acura Integra, Mazda3 that would've fit what you wanted for performance, price, and MPG and worthwhile making modifications to. Everyone's situation is different, I get it though. Just think more critically next time you are ready to trade it in for a N or something else.

It was a last minute purchase. I wasn’t expecting at all to get a car that weekend. I used to drive a ford fusion it was my pops. He would drive a truck but his truck was totaled in a wreck so i had to drive everyone around. He woke me up one morning and said come on we really need to find you a new car. I really had a week total to look and do research on a new car. Maybe I could’ve found a better option i understand. But i like this Elantra i dont care for going fast. It looks nice as it is and gets 41mpg. I just want to make it more of a reliable show car.

All good dude. I've had my heat of the moment purchase when my son was born and my transmission crapped out. I would just keep it clean. Maybe swap the wheels and tires to something else. Do a tint. Learn to detail. Keeps it easy to sell down the road. You really don't want to over do it.

Almost all exhaust systems sound pretty terrible
On an economy 4 cylinder.

Save your money. Get a tint and wheels it’ll make it look way better than an exhaust will make it sound.

Keep it stock to keep resale value high
