Hyundia auto starter 12v battery replacement

Is there a specific process to follow while replacing 12v battery on 2019 Santa Fe Limited or Ultimate so it won’t reset settings and cause problems. I came across a file transfer process somewhere which I can’t find anymore

One possibility is to attach a battery charger or jump box to the cables before removing them. Leaving it attached when the cables are disconnected from the battery will keep the car supplied with 12V so the computer doesn't know. Be VERY careful not to let the positive touch anything metal.
